About the position

Under Graduation: B.Sc in Apparel and Fashion Technology / Fashion Design / Costume Design and Fashion (or) B.F Tech Apparel Production / B.Tech Fashion Technology with First class or equivalent from any recognized Indian University. (or) B.Des in Fashion design/ Fashion Communication / Knitwear Design (and) Post-Graduation: M. Sc in Fashion Design and Merchandising / Fashion Design / Costume Design / Fashion Business management / Fashion Management. (or) Masters in Fashion Management / Apparel Management / Retail Management / Apparel Technology and Management (or) M.Des Fashion Design with First class or equivalent from any recognized Indian University.

Eligibility

• EXPERTISE:
• i) Management & Merchandising - Fashion Retail Management, Visual Merchandising, Apparel Merchandising.
• ii) Production – Pattern Making, Garment Construction, Production Planning & Control, Apparel CAD.
• iii) Design & Communication - Fashion designing/ Fashion illustration / Fashion Photography and Journalism / Communication / Graphic Design/ Fashion CAD
• Software Skills – Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw and Apparel CAD.
• MANDATORY:
• National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC / CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET / SET.
• (or)
• Ph. D degree in concerned discipline*.
• *Ph.D candidates can be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET.
• Qualifications & Experience:
• UG & PG or Integrated PG in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of degrees. Both UG & PG degrees in full time mode.
